Serving communities across South Mississippi, the Pine Burr Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America helps young people build character, develop leadership skills, and learn the value of service and outdoor adventure. Through Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Exploring programs, thousands of youth discover confidence, teamwork, and responsibility while having fun in the outdoors.

This is our 100th Anniversary! Scouting in South Mississippi has partnered with families, schools, faith organizations, and civic groups to prepare the next generation of leaders. From coastal marshes to pine‑covered hills, the Pine Burr Area Council continues to make a lasting impact—teaching skills that last a lifetime and strengthening the communities we call home.
